Regional Police Responded To 1,483 Calls Last Week

Regional Police say they responded to 1,483 calls during the week of June 8th to 14th.

That’s up from 1,310 the week before.

Police got 44 calls for vehicle collisions during the week, along with 65 traffic or driving complaints and 7 calls for a suspicious vehicle.

There were 12 calls for assault, 7 for sex offences, 2 weapons complaints, and one call about human trafficking, as well as 54 dispute or disturbance calls and 45 calls for theft.

Police got 2 calls for impaired driving last week, along with 6 for noise complaints and 289 for premises checks.

26 summary offence tickets were issued during the week.
