I was wondering if you could do something nice for my husband today. Peter has been off sick with the flu for almost a week. He’s back to work today delivering flyers for the Cape Breton post. He has 2 favorite Christmas tunes : Snoopy’s Christmas by the Royal Guardsman & Coming Home Christmas by Edward Bear. If you could play either one of these and dedicate it to him, I would be so grateful. From his wife who is still at home recuperating from this dang flu bug, Dorothy

Listening to Scott Purdy, November 11…..listening since this early morning, the stories, yet the music, be local performers, present and past, artists from far away, the coast nailed the morning with their professional memorial radio show. I would like to acknowledge that we have this privilege to listen to such a show…..you brought back memories…..and that’s what we are told to do, yet sometimes under unforgiving circumstances we don’t take the time to do so, but I feel your show made people “remember”…..I thank you.

Hi I live in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. I am a regular listener to your station. I originally grew up in Cape Breton. I still visit as often as possible to see family. I get the station on my computer. Lately I have been unable to pick up the station. I used to get it on Bell TV but last year I switched to Eastlink TV. They unfortunately do not carry the radio stations. Now I am missing my favorite radio station. Is there anything I can do to get this back. I miss it! Thanks

Gerald, try downloading an app called Tune In. You can select what stations you want, and save them as favorites. Works great on my tablet!
      Regards,

I have a new song that was recorded at the Aaron Lewis Studio on Charlotte St in Sydney called “HERO “ and was wondering if maybe the Coast would maybe give it a listen and maybe give it some air time. Fred MacNeil…I think you and your listeners will like it. At least I hope so. Thanks

Hey I really enjoy your station but I don’t understand why I have such poor reception on my truck radio especially in Sydney I can only listen a short while and then I have to switch the station, I don’t know if its to do with your fm signal or my radio, I have a 2017 Tacoma every other fm station is great but yours I do wish I could resolve this issue anyway just letting you know this and that I really enjoy your station as I am a senior and enjoy the music you people select and play thanks.

Charlie: thanks so much for featuring my new CD, “Will Ye No Come Back Again” on your Kitchen Party tonight!!! It is no wonder that The Coast Radio is so popular throughout the Maritimes and especially right here in Cape Breton. That you feature local artists is a testament to your loyalty to Capers and to Cape Breton born music…..thanks very very much!!!!! Joe
