MS Awareness Month
May is MS Awareness Month in Canada. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. It can affect vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. The majority of affected Canadians are between the ages of 15 and 40, and women are three times more likely to develop MS than men. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world, and there is currently no cure.
