The number of people in the province looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner went up from May 1st to June 1st.
The Health Authority says there were 60,579 Nova Scotians on the Need a Family Practice Registry as of June 1st.
That’s an increase of 386 people.
Nova Scotia Health says the current number of people on the waiting list reflects the cumulative result of activity on the registry since its creation.
It says that includes registrations, attachments to a family doctor or nurse practitioner, and other updates to registration status over time.
The percentage of the population on the registry is now 5.5%.
