Diesel Down For The Second Day In A Row

The price of diesel went down for the second night in a row after the Energy Board used its interrupter clause again.

Diesel dropped by 8.6 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.88.4 in Cape Breton.

The drop comes after diesel went down by 7.1 cents the night before.

The Energy Board says the early change in the price was again prompted by a significant shift in the market price of diesel.

Meanwhile the price of gas didn’t change, and gas continues to go for a minimum of $1.71.8 cents a litre on the island.
