Missing Man’s Body Found

The body of a man who went missing in Inverness County last weekend has been found.

Police haven’t identified the body, but family members have confirmed it’s that of 31 year-old Colin Beaton from Lower Sackville.

Beaton was last seen at a cottage in Harbourview, near Port Hood, on Saturday morning, leading to a large ground, air and water search.

RCMP say searchers found the body in the water near Judique at about 9 o’clock yesterday morning.

They say their investigation continues.
