WestJet Returning To McCurdy Sydney Airport On June 28th
WestJet announced this morning it’s returning to the McCurdy Sydney Airport in June.
The airline suspended flights to Sydney effective November 2nd because of a drop in passenger demand during the pandemic.
Sydney was later left without any passenger air service when Air Canada pulled out on January 11th.
WestJet will be restoring a daily flight between Sydney and Halifax on June 28th.
The airline also plans to restore flights to Charlottetown, Fredericton, Moncton, and Quebec City.
