by Federal election polls opened in Cape Breton at 8:30 this morning and will be open until 8:30 tonight.
People who didn’t get a voter information card can find their polling station by entering their postal code on the Elections Canada website or by calling 1-800-463-6868.
People are being asked to bring ID with their address on it when they go to vote or bring ID without an address such as a health card, library card or student card along with proof of their address such as a power bill.
The Coast 89.7 will have live election coverage tonight starting at 8:30 when the polls close.
