Visitor Restrictions Lifted At Harbourview Hospital

The provincial Health Authority says visitor restrictions are no longer in effect in the rehabilitation and restorative care unit at Harbourview Hospital in Sydney Mines.

The restrictions were put in place earlier this month to help limit the spread of flu-like illness among patients on the 21-bed unit.

However, the Health Authority is reminding people to use caution when they visit the unit although the restrictions have been lifted.

It says people should not visit any hospital if they or other people in their homes are sick.

It also says anyone who does visit should always thoroughly clean their hands before and after they visit.
