Tentative Contract for Regional Police

Regional Council unanimously approved a tentative contract for Regional Police at last night’s Council meeting.

The five year deal gives police annual wage increases of 2.5%.

 They’ll get a total of 12.5% in wage increases over the life of the contract.

Police have been without a contract since December 31st.

Other details of the tentative deal have not been released.
