Dominion Man Attacked And Robbed In His Home

Regional Police are looking for two men after a 68 year-old man was injured and robbed in his Dominion home on the weekend.

Police say the man told them two men knocked on the door of his Henry Street house at around 6:00 on Saturday evening.

He says they asked to use a phone and then came inside and demanded money.

Police say they took the man’s wallet with some cash inside and stabbed his hand in a brief scuffle before running away.

The man was taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney for treatment of what police call a minor injury to his hand.

Police say the two men who attacked and robbed him wore dark clothing.

They’re asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything that evening to call the police general number or Crime Stoppers.
