Sydney Man Charged In Rotary Drive Shooting

Charges have been brought against a Sydney man accused in a shooting on Rotary Drive on Saturday.

23-year-old Chance Kenneth MacLeod is facing a host of charges, including Aggravated Assault and Assault with a Weapon as well as Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Use of a Firearm and Pointing a Firearm.

Regional Police say the 28-year-old victim is in stable condition in hospital and is being treated for injuries to his leg.

Police say the shooting happened after an altercation among a group of people who all know each other.
