Sydney man arrested for stabbing

A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing in Sydney early yesterday morning.
Police say they responded to a disturbance at a house party on Rockcliff Cres. shortly after midnight, and found a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital by Emergency Health Services and is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. He was remanded and will appear in court tomorrow morning.
