by Regional Police say they’re investigating what they call a suspicious death at a home on Ling Street in New Waterford.
Police say officers were called to the home at around 6:00 yesterday evening, where they discovered an unresponsive person.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced the person dead.
A man who knows the person was arrested and he remains in police custody.
Police say the identity of the victim won’t be released, pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin.
