Public Consultations On Open Adoptions Taking Place Today In Cape Breton

Two public consultations on open adoption records are taking place in Cape Breton, today.

The Department of Community Services announced last month, it’s looking for input on whether provincial adoption records should be more accessible.

There’s also an online survey where people can give feedback until January 3rd.

The first Cape Breton session gets underway at 2:00 this afternoon at Mi’kmaw Family and Children Services in Eskasoni.

Another session starts at 6:30 this evening at the Marconi Campus of the community college on the Sydney-Glace Bay Highway.
