One Of Two Men Charged After Death Of Eskasoni Man Due Back In Court, Today

One of two men facing a murder charge after a 33-year-old man was found dead in Eskasoni is due back in court today.

37-year-old Roger Wilfred Prosper is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Harry James Lafford Junior.

29-year-old Kirk Daniel Gould is also charged with second degree murder in the case.

He’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing on December 12th.

Both men are being held in custody.

Charges were laid against the pair after police say they found a man seriously injured and unconscious at a home on Mini Mall Drive shortly before midnight on March 21st.

He was later pronounced dead after CPR attempts were unsuccessful.
