NS Reports 4th COVID-19 Death

Health Officials say a Cape Breton woman is the fourth person to die from COVID-19 complications in the province.

They say the woman in her 80’s died earlier today but they’re not saying where she died.

Two of the three other COVID-19 deaths in the province were also in Cape Breton.

Health officials have also announced they found 27 more cases of COVID-19 in the province yesterday, bringing the total to 606.

One more case was found in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

As of yesterday, there were eight licensed long-term care homes in the province with cases of COVID-19 with 55 residents and 43 staff infected.
