The person who died was a woman in her 70’s with underlying medical conditions.
The province says the woman did not live in a long-term care home.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says people should not take too much comfort in lower numbers of cases.
Strang says health officials still seeing cases of community spread, where they can’t determine the source of the infection.
