The three Alberta men charged in the murder of Jeffery Pearson in Whitney Pier will return to court on September 25th for a focus hearing after a court appearance this morning.
27-year-old Mal Chol, 19-year-old Letjor Geng and 20-year-old Goaner Mark Tut are all charged with first degree murder in Pearson’s death.
44-year-old Pearson died in a shooting at a home on Shore Road early on the morning of February 22nd.
The three men will be tried together when the case comes to trial and all three now have lawyers.
The Crown asked for time today so the defence can review disclosure information before preliminary hearing dates are set.
49-year-old Christopher Anderson Neville is also facing a charge of first degree murder in the case.
