Mobile Kitchen and Comfort Centre For People Still Without Power

The Regional Municipality says the Salvation Army is in Marion Bridge this afternoon to provide lunch for people in the area still without power after storm Dorian.

The organization’s mobile kitchen is parked at Mira Manor on the Gabarus Highway at this hour (noon).

The mobile kitchen is then headed to the Gabarus Fire Department for 5:00 this evening.

Meanwhile, a comfort centre at the Fire Department will stay open until 8:00 tonight or until power is restored in the area.

And people without power who need of food or drinkable water are asked to call the Salvation Army Help Line at 902-562-1717.

Volunteers are available to answer calls until 4:00, this afternoon.
