by The Healthcare Redevelopment Plan for the Regional Municipality will be discussed at Province House, later this morning.
The Plan is on the agenda at today’s meeting of the Legislature’s standing committee on health.
It includes the/an expansion at the Regional Hospital in Sydney as well as the closures of the hospitals in North Sydney and New Waterford.
They’ll be replaced with Community Health Centres that don’t have emergency departments.
The plan will also see renovations at the Glace Bay Hospital’s Emergency Department.
The Health Committee meeting starts at 9:00 this morning.
