The Crown Corporation says it isn’t expecting it to be a lengthy repair or to have any long-term effects on the vessel.
The ferry MV Highlanders is taking the Leif Ericson’s place in the schedule while it’s out for repairs.
Marine Atlantic says this means the Ala’suinu, the Blue Puttees and the Highlanders will be in operation until the Leif Ericson returns to service.
