Lambert Todd is the first community-owned racehorse in North America, purchased by a group of eight businessmen from Reserve Mines in 1929.
We saw that Reserve is known for the ‘firsts’ so when the organizers researched Reserve Mines they found out about Lambert Todd, thus the name of our festival
