Each January, Crime Stoppers programs around the world celebrate Crime Stoppers Month to highlight their successes and promote one of the largest crime solving and crime fighting programs in the world.
The program’s success due in large part to the many volunteers, organizations, sponsors, businesses, media and law enforcement agencies that contribute to its operation. Equally important are the people who call us with information to help solve crimes, the tipsters.
Crime Stoppers provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge. Cash rewards are offered to people who call the program and their information leads to an arrest.
