Health Authority CEO Janet Knox Will Retire This Summer

Provincial Health Authority CEO Janet Knox plans to retire in August.

Knox was named CEO of the organization when it was created in 2014.

The new Nova Scotia Health Authority would see the amalgamation of nine District Health Authorities.

Knox was seconded to the Department of Health to work on the merger and the set-up of the new provincial health organization.

The Department of Health says the search for her successor has already begun.
