Four Students Fined Under Health Protection Act

RCMP say they’ve fined four students in the province for violating the Health Protection Act over the Labour Day weekend.

Three of the students are in Antigonish and the other is in Wolfville.

The fines were brought after police say they got reports between Friday and Monday about students from outside the Atlantic Bubble who weren’t quarantining.

People are required to quarantine for 14 days after coming into the region from outside the bubble.

Each of the students was fined a thousand dollars.
