The New Waterford Coal Bowl Classic is a national invitational high school basketball week long tournament.
The Coal Bowl Classic is held at Breton Education Centre, New Waterford, Nova Scotia. Breton Education Centre is both a junior and senior high school which opened in 1970.
The Coal Bowl Classic consists of ten (10) high school boy teams and two (2) high school girl teams.
