Education Minister Says Schools Will Likely Stay Closed

Education Minister Zach Churchill says he doubts schools in the province will reopen this school year.

Schools have been shutdown until at least May 1st because of COVID-19.

But Churchill says he expects the closure will be extended.

Students are getting education packages so they can learn at home.

And Churchill says they’re making sure Grade Twelve students get any credits they need to carry on with their education after graduation.
