Druhan will join students at St. Anne’s Elementary as the first lunches are served for the province’s new School Lunch Program.
Phase 1 of the program is serving lunches at every school that has elementary grades, starting this month.
The program is pay-what-you-can.
That means families can choose to pay the full $6.50 cost of the lunch, part of the cost or nothing at all with all payment information being kept confidential.
