by The price of diesel went down overnight after the Energy Board used the interrupter clause to change the price early this week.
It says it made the move because of a significant shift in the market price for diesel.
Diesel went down by 5.6 cents a litre and it now goes for a minimum of $2.70.2 cents in Cape Breton.
Meanwhile, the price of gas hasn’t changed.
The minimum price for a litre of gas on the Island is still $1.98.1.
