Council Approves Doggy Daycare

Regional Council approved a doggy daycare for Keltic Drive in Westmount at last night’s council meeting.

The move comes after most people at a public meeting earlier this month spoke out against the project over concerns about noise from barking dogs.

But the woman behind the facility, Nicole Campbell, is promising to soundproof the building to cut down on any noise.

Campbell says the dogs at the facility will be indoors most of the time.

She says work on plans for the new business will start right away.
