Conservative MP Visiting The Regional Municipality

Conservative MP Cathy McLeod is visiting Cape Breton for the next two days.

The party says its critic for Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs will discuss economic development during her trip.

The B-C MP is meeting with Regional Mayor Cecil Clarke at 4:00, this afternoon.

MacLeod is due to meet Regional Police Chief Peter McIsaac at 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Then at 11:00, she’ll meet with members of Membertou First Nation.

She’ll have roundtable with local business owners at 2:00 in the afternoon and wrap up her day with a tour of the Port of Sydney.
