CBU Faculty Votes to Support Labour Deal

Members Cape Breton University’s Faculty Association have ratified a tentative deal reached with the university earlier this month.

The three-year deal was reached after both sides met with a provincial conciliator.

The union says the deal got 86.3% support among members who voted.

The agreement also has to be approved by CBU’s Board of Governors.

They’ll be voting on the deal on Friday of next week.
