Cape Breton leads the way in COVID-19 vaccinations
The associate deputy minister for Nova Scotia Health and Wellness says 100 per cent of Cape Bretoners aged 70 to 74 have been vaccinated.
Tracey Barbrick says 49 per cent of 16-19 year-olds in the eastern zone either have a dose already or are booked as of the end of the day Thursday, compared to 45 per cent provincewide.
Forty-three per cent of 12-15 years-old are either vaccinated or scheduled.
Sixty-one-point-four per cent of Cape Breton overall has received at least one dose, compared to 51.4 per cent provincewide.
