Body Found Near Loch Lomond

Regional police say a body was found in woods near Loch Lomond in Richmond County this morning.

The discovery was made during a search for 69 year-old Allister T. MacNeil from Morrison Road off the Louisbourg Highway, who was reported missing more than a week ago.

MacNeil’s SUV was found in the Loch Lomond area yesterday but police are not confirming the identity of the person found today.

They say the Medical Examiner will determine the person’s identity and cause of death.

They also say they don’t suspect any foul play.
