Bail Hearing Today For Man Charged In Sydney Mines Shootings

A man charged with attempted murder after three people were injured in shootings in Sydney Mines is due back in court today for another bail hearing.

A bail hearing for 42 year-old Raymond Shawn Daniel Leroy was adjourned on Tuesday.

Leroy is also facing counts of aggravated assault, uttering threats, break and enter, and firearms charges.

The shootings on December 22nd sent a 28 year-old man, a 41 year-old man and a 21-year-old woman to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An arrest warrant was issued for Leroy and he later turned himself in at the Sydney Courthouse on January 2nd.
