Apr. 12-18th. – National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week, April 12-18, 2015, is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals.

A volunteer action is like a stone thrown in a lake: its effect has a direct impact. At the same time, like ripples, volunteer efforts reach out far and wide to improve communities. Undeniably, volunteers rock.

National Volunteer Week is a time to recognize, celebrate and thank Canada’s volunteers.
