by The price of diesel went up overnight after the Energy Board used its interrupter clause to change the price early for the second night in a row.
Diesel took a big jump of 12.9 cents a litre and it now goes for a minimum of $2.58.2 cents in Cape Breton.
Again, the Energy Board says the early price adjustment was necessary because of a significant shift in the market price for diesel.
Meanwhile, the price of gas hasn’t changed.
The minimum price for a litre of gas on the Island is still $1.90.4.
