Regional Police Responded to 1,447 Calls Last Week

Regional Police say their officers responded to 1,447 calls during the week of June 15th to 21st.

Police got 57 calls for vehicle collisions and 70 for traffic or driving complaints.

There were 12 calls for assault during the week, 8 calls for impaired driving, 2 for an indecent act and one call for human trafficking.

Police responded to 33 calls for a suspicious person, 2 calls for a sex offence, 7 for fraud and 12 calls for intimidation or threats.

There were 282 calls for a premises checks last week and 60 summary offence tickets were issued.
