The union for striking long term care workers in the province says it’s returning to the bargaining table with the government later today.
CUPE says the latest round of talks will be taking place with the help of a conciliator.
The province has been insisting CUPE present its May 7th offer to the membership for a vote.
However, the union says it remains firm it won’t present an offer to the membership it doesn’t have full confidence in.
The strike started on April 13th with 2,200 workers and CUPE says that number has now grown to about 3,600.
