Doctors Nova Scotia Has New President

Doctors Nova Scotia has a new president.

Dr. Gehad Gobran from Bedford was installed as the association’s president for 2024–25 during it’s annual conference on Saturday.

The organization that represents all doctors in the province says Gobran will continue to focus on stabilizing primary care for Nova Scotians during his term.

He works as a family physician at the Duffus Health Centre in Halifax.

Meanwhile, Halifax infectious disease doctor Shelly McNeil has been endorsed as the Doctors Nova President-Elect and her term as president will start in June of 2025.
