Kidney Month

March is National Kidney Month, a time when communities across the country raise awareness about kidney disease.

World Kidney Day – Mar. 11th.

World Kidney Day seeks to raise awareness about the importance of kidneys. Humans have two kidneys, located on either side of the spine in the lower abdomen. They are responsible for removing waste products and excess fluids from the body. Kidneys also release various hormones and produce vitamins. This day aims to inform the world about ways to prevent kidney disease.
