Province Records Largest Single-Day COVID-19 Case Increase

Health officials say they found 43 more cases of COVID-19 in the province yesterday, marking the largest single-day increase in Nova Scotia since the start of the pandemic.

There were no new cases reported in the Health Authority’s Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

Officials have reported a total of 40 cases in the zone so far and the total across the province is now 517.

Ten people are now in hospital in the province because of the virus and 124 have recovered.
