New Bishop For Diocese Of Antigonish

The Diocese of Antigonish has a new Bishop.

Wayne Joseph Kirkpatrick will take over from Brian Dunn who became Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth in July.

Kirkpatrick has served as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Toronto since 2012.

He was born in St. Catharine’s, Ontario and was ordained to the priesthood in 1984.

He’ll be installed as the new Bishop of Antigonish early in the New Year.
