May 15-21st – National Police Week

Police Week began in Canada in 1970 as a way to connect with communities and increase awareness about the services that police provide. During Police Week, the RCMP recognizes the important role that police play in the safety and security of Canadians, at home and abroad.

They’re the men and women who dedicate their lives, everyday, for the safety of others. They do it so the rest of us as live comfortably in our neighbourhoods, and to be there if we need them.
