by Cape Breton Regional Police are opening a new Community Police Office in Sydney this morning.
The office is located across the from the Scotiabank on Charlotte Street in the former Bean Bank café location.
Constable Gary Fraser says the office will be staffed on weekdays.
He says police saw the need for the office after meetings with the Sydney Downtown Development Association.
He says there’s going to an official opening ceremony for the Police Office at 10:00 this morning.
