Dog Attack Owner Tells Her Side of the Story
The owner of a pit bull that attacked a Glace Bay woman is telling her side of the story.
Katlyn MacLeod says her pit bull Cain was coming to her defence when it bit Corry MacPhee-Morrison in the right thigh.
MacPhee-Morrison needed 200 stitches to sew up the wound and says she wants the dog put down.
But MacLeod says her dog bit the woman after MacPhee-Morrison struck her in the face.
MacLeod adds her dog was simply coming to her defence after she and MacPhee-Morrison got into an argument.
MacLeod’s boyfriend who is also the victim’s brother is confirming her side of the story.
William MacPhee adds Cain has been around many people including his sister and has never attacked anyone in the past.
Meanwhile, the Cape Breton Branch of the SPCA is investigating the incident with help from the Regional Police.
