I’m listening from Toronto, Ontario but I wish I was back in Cape Breton all the time. Great station. The last time I listened was when you were talking to the guy who worked for MT&T and wrote a book about his life on an island where his family looked after a lighthouse. I forgot the name but he sounded like a typical nice Cape Bretoner. Thanks a lot.

Judy, Bose is known for sound quality and not necessarily reception strength. Do you have quality external AM and FM antennas connected. Your radio should have come with them. If not, i recommend the type of antenna you would use on a TV if it wasn’t connected to cable. You know, Rabbit Ears. Check to see if your Bose radio has the type of antenna connector same as on the back of a TV. Otherwise, if you are looking for some of the best radios money can buy, look for Grundig or Eton Radios. They are world renowned for antenna strength. Amazon has them. You could get into a decent one for a couple hundred bucks on up to six or seven hundred. Good Luck.

But, I’ve put the Sinatra Family’s version into this week’s Flashback Friday, and I also put in Steve and Eydie’s “That Holiday” for Friday night.
