Good Morning, thanks to all of you working at the Coast! I returned home over 10 years ago from the west coast & its a breath of local fresh air in the generic souless corporate radio that is taking over the airwaves. Stations that pretend to be from here but are actually staffed with people who r not from here & provide no real local context, care or information. On the way home last night I was listening in my truck just after midnight & there was a song i’d never heard before, something about love being the thing that unifies us. I know your probably understaffed but a daily playlist on your website would be fantastic. You’ve introduced me to independent music I’ve never heard or haven’t heard in a long time!
Thank you again!
Sincerely Jim

On Sunday April 22 at 9AM your station played a song that I have not heard in a long, long time. I don’t know the name of the tune or who sings it. Can you find it for me?
Thanx

Hi Ken, can you be more specific? Was it a man or a woman singing, and do you recall any of the lyrics?

Gena , the song is Abergavenny by Marty Wilde. It was big in Europe back in 1968 and made the top 50 in the U.S. later that year. I found this info on Google. Thanx for responding.

Just heard that Alysha played one of our songs on her show this morning …. one of our fans over there in Cape Breton has just let me know. I am one half of the UK duo Breeze & Wilson, and we’ve been touring over your way every year since 2007 ….. we’re back again this June and have two concerts in your area.
Dates are not finalised for all of our concerts as yet, but just wanted to say thanks for all the support your shows have given us over the years.
all our best wishes
Graham and Toby

I was viewing Cape Breton’s website and was checking out some of their artist links when I found a link to your station on one. I viewed your website and decided to check you out – glad I did! Nice mix of music. I’m looking forward to listening to a lot more of your station. My only regret is I can’t receive your signal due to my being located in central/eastern New York state (USA).
