Woman Killed In Crash That Shutdown Highway In Shubenacadie, Yesterday.

The RCMP says the driver of an SUV is dead after it collided with a dump truck on Highway 102 in Shubenacadie, yesterday morning.

Police say the SUV lost control, crossed the median, and crashed into the truck.

They say driver of the SUV died at the scene, while the driver of the dump truck was not injured.

The northbound lanes of the highway were closed until 6:30 yesterday evening while police investigated.

Police say they’re working with the provincial Medical Examiner Service to identify the woman who was killed.
